Definitions
In these terms:
a)
“Referrer”
means an eligible existing Napo policyholder who makes a referral.b)
“Referee”
means the individual referred by the Referrer, who cannot be a current Napo policyholder.c)
“Reward”
means the £30 Amazon Voucher issued by Napo under this Referral Scheme.d)
“Qualifying Policy”
means a new Napo pet insurance policy purchased by the Referee using a valid Referral code, which is eligible under the conditions set out below and remains active and in good standing in accordance with these terms. Policies with an annual benefit limit of £2,000 are not qualifying policies.e)
“Good standing”
means: (i) the policy has started and been in force for 30 days; (ii) the first premium has been successfully collected and is not reversed/charged back; (iii) the policy is not cancelled, voided or lapsed; and (iv) there are no overdue amounts.General

These terms and conditions govern our friends and family Referral Scheme.

To benefit from the Referral Scheme you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over.

The Referral Scheme is available only for purchases of Napo pet insurance policies with annual benefit limits of £4,000, £8,000, £12,000 and £16,000. The Referral Scheme is not valid for purchases of our £2,000 policy or those who downgrade to a £2,000 policy within the first 30 days - even if a Referral code is used. No Reward will be issued to the Referrer or Referee in these circumstances and any pending or issued Rewards may be withheld or cancelled.

The Referral Scheme is for a £30 Amazon Voucher redeemable at https://www.amazon.co.uk/ after a successful qualifying purchase. One £30 Amazon Voucher is payable to the Referrer and one £30 Amazon Voucher is payable to the Referee, if the purchase is a qualifying policy and the policy is in good standing.

The terms that apply to you will be the terms published at the time you accept them. We recommend keeping a copy of this page for your records. Any amendments will be set out on this page.

Napo reserves the right to cancel or change this Reward promotion, at any time, with no prior notice.

Rewards are subject to availability and Napo reserves the right to provide substitute rewards should the specified or chosen reward become unavailable. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered.

The Reward must be used within 12 months of the date of its receipt. Napo cannot be held responsible for any unused or expired Reward and replacements will not be given in the event of an expired Reward.

Amazon Vouchers are subject to Amazon’s terms and conditions and we are not responsible for Amazon’s services or any refusal by Amazon to redeem a voucher.

Rewards are personal and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged or auctioned.

The referral code must be used prior to the Referee purchasing an insurance policy to be qualifying. In the event of a Referee cancelling their policy before the first payment is made, no Reward shall be paid to either party.

No party may, under any circumstances, refer themselves.

Rewards are only issued where:a) the Referrer is an active Napo policyholder at the time of referral and at the time the Reward is due to be issued that is not cancelled, lapsed or in arrears; andb) the Referee purchases a Qualifying Policy that remains in good standing and has made their first premium payment.

We may withhold, refuse, cancel or revoke any Reward where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, gaming, policy misrepresentation, non-genuine referrals, or any breach of these terms. Any policies we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, void, or based on misrepresentation may be cancelled and/or treated as ineligible for the Referral Scheme. If a policy or referral cannot be verified to our reasonable satisfaction, we may cancel the policy (where we have reasonable suspicion of fraud) and cancel any related rewards issued to the Referrer and/or Referee.

We may impose reasonable limits on the number of Rewards issued per person, household, email address, payment method, device, or policy, and may refuse referrals that appear to be duplicates or part of a pattern of abuse.

Referrals must be genuine friends-and-family referrals. Referrals made via paid advertising, lead-generation, cashback sites, voucher-code websites, bulk distribution, spam or any other commercial activity are not permitted and will be ineligible.

Rewards will be issued by email only. You are responsible for ensuring the email address you provide is correct and able to receive emails from us (including checking junk/spam folders). We are not responsible for delivery failures outside our reasonable control.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Referrer
- Must be an existing Napo policyholder.
- Referrers can refer as many referees to Napo as they like. We reserve the right to limit the amount of referrals in the future. Must be genuine friends and family as set out in clause 17 above.
- The Reward will be sent, by email, within 30 days of the first payment for a qualifying Napo Pet Insurance policy being successfully taken from the Referee.
- The Referrer must be an active Napo policyholder at the time of making the referral and at the time the Reward is issued. If the Referrer cancels or their policy lapses before Reward issuance, the Referrer will not be eligible for the Reward.
Referee
- The Referee must purchase a qualifying Napo Pet Insurance policy to receive their Reward.
- The Referee will only receive the Reward, by email, within 30 days of their first premium payment being received for a qualifying Napo Pet Insurance policy.
- The Referee must not be an existing customer of Napo.
- The Referee must purchase a Napo policy using the Referral code to be eligible for the Reward.
- This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, except the multi-pet discount.
- If the Referee cancels, voids, rescinds, receives a premium refund, or if the first premium is reversed/charged back, then no Reward will be issued and any issued Rewards may be paused or cancelled.
- The Referral code must be applied at the point of purchase. Referral codes cannot be applied retrospectively.
Data Protection
- Read our privacy policy for further information on how your data is used and your rights in relation to your data.
- We will process personal data for the purposes of administering the Referral Scheme, including verifying eligibility, preventing fraud, issuing Rewards, and maintaining records of Referral code usage and Rewards issued.
- We may share limited personal data with third parties involved in operating the Referral Scheme and delivering the Reward (for example, voucher fulfilment and email delivery providers), and with regulators, law enforcement or fraud prevention agencies where required or appropriate.
- We may retain Referral Scheme records for as long as necessary to administer the scheme and comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and audit requirements (as described in our privacy policy).
